Cauldron of Poo

I get so excited at the first snowfall.  Last night it was snowing, and I LOVED it.  But then early this morning it was REALLY REALLY snowing.  So at 3:30 AM I took pictures, while Wiggy played and Bug ate snow.

Then later this morning we lost electricity.  So I concocted a cauldron of chicken soup.  Took three hours to make, which is how long we were out of power.  I didn't mind it.

Meanwhile, Poopyhead is still sick.  He's starting to smell funny.  But Wiggy and Bug don't care.  Wiggy rolled in poo but Tim is so clogged up, he doesn't know it.  I should probably let him know, but I thought I'd tell you first.

  4. Lol!! You are too funny.

Snow and a power outage seems like quite the hello to Winter. Glad you could have fun with the power out. We just got rain today...not sure when it will turn white.

    1. I do admit that I laughed when I wrote it. Yes, quite a hello to winter, at that. Nearly all gone now, just a few ice patches left.

I'm still leaning toward a White Halloween.

  9. Thanks for the poo info, the day wouldn't be the same without it :)

Love the snow pic! It's totally different here, even though it's Autumn I'm in my T-shirt outside today!

    1. T-shirt is nice for fall. I love a nice fall. It's weird out right now. Kind of chilly, but also when the sun comes out, really nice.

    1. That is normal for us, here. BUT the last few winters have really been wussy winters. Think maybe we might get a real on this year.

    1. I didn't have any. I parted the broth just to give to Tim and I'll use the chicken for chicken salad and then the veg will go into dog treats.

  12. You are like my son - he loves the snow. I probably wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't so freakin' cold! Haha!

Your soup sounds good (and warm...mmm). Hope Tim feels better soon.

    1. I get excited for the first snow fall BUT, I don't want to live where there is snow all ding dong year long. Love the changes in the seasons.

Thanks, I hope he gets better soon, too.

  13. Hope the soup cures the bug. I'm going to enjoy snow more this year since I'm retired and don't have to get to work.

    1. I am supposed to be off for the winter, so I plan on enjoying it a whole lot more as well. Big difference when I don't have to drive.

  14. I'm impressed Bug didn't roll in it, too. With my girls (rest their souls), it was always tag team mischief. You might want to throw Wiggy and Tim in the shower together.
