Puffy & Hungover

Even with the stained doors dried, I still woke with a puffy eyes, rashy face, and slightly hungover.

But in better news ...

    1. It's not been fun. Next time we might try staining with tea or coffee grounds.

  4. Well, I would say the farts are more Tim's problem than yours, lol -- he's the collateral damage.

    1. Might try and stain with tea or coffee grounds, next go. This stain is holding on toooo long in the house.

Did you make anything yummy for supper tonight?

  7. Paint and stain give me a migraine and make me close to vomiting.
Nothing wrong with farting! Probably best to be discrete in public.

  8. Doors look nice.
Yeah, more than I needed to know. But tofu is made of beans.

  9. Sorry you are puffy and hungover and I'm sure the tofu farts did nothing to improve things...I hope your system calms down and you feel better quickly. How was the blueberry pie?

    1. I just made two small hand-pies. Insides were yummy but the outside still underbaked. I'll go again and increase the temp.

      Thanks for asking.

  10. Quite a lot of chemical smells do that to me too. Instant headache and nausea too.
Yay for tofu (farts or not).

    1. My partner (not a fan) refers to tofu as bean-turd.

    2. Hahaha, Tim says that too because in real life, I call it bean curd. We have funny guys.

Sorry you get the instant headache and nausea. Birdie mentioned that too. Yikes.

  11. The doors look fab!! I had the farts too...unfortunately it was at the gym Sunday morning....fortunately, I had my ear buds in and took the 'I don't care if you hear it' attitude...not sure if I'm allowed back yet....

Hey, we're at Barnes now and I was looking through a magazine all about pies. Oh my gosh, some pretty pictures. Saw little stars placed on top of one and it made me think of your cutter one. So fun.

  15. Your mention of the farts had me laughing, Ivy. I have heard (for baked beans, anyway), that adding just a tiny bit of white vinegar does not change the flavour and cuts the farts.

    1. Interesting about the vinegar. I shall give it a go next time I make bean curd. Maybe it will help with that, too. Thanks!
