White Noise Muck

So I've been sitting here most of the night doing jigsaw puzzles on the tablet. Only now, it's after midnight and I need some sleep, but my brain has that white noise muck and I can't sleep.

Note to Self: No digital puzzles 5, 4, 3, 2 hours before bed.

PS: Tomorrow we're going to go look at houses because we are tired of living in a giant metal hallway that's falling apart, beyond repair. But before  we do that, we're gonna have waffles and bacon.

That is all from me, nighty night (I hope).

PPS: Tim said LOTS of BACON!

  2. Waffles and bacon... when I have time, I'll have to look those words in the dictionary :)

Hey I'm also a puzzle-addict, I need a support group, do you know of one?

Good luck with your house hunting.

    1. How about wholemeal waffles without dairy? Any better? Or still no?

Congrats on doing so well with your health journey. I'm enjoying reading all about your adventures.

  7. I wonder if real puzzles are more relaxing. I find that real books put me to sleep, but reading a tablet keeps me awake.

    1. Probably brain-noise-wise, anything offscreen would be better. But I love the mobility and convenience of tablet puzzles.

I just won't do them anymore before bed.

  8. Have fun house hunting (I always enjoyed doing that--I guess I'm strange that way). I'd also say enjoy your waffles and bacon, but I assume you've already eaten those! :)

    1. I can tell you this is one thing that I don't have fun with. I hate looking for houses and I best change my attitude.

  10. I hope you got some good sleep. I know exactly what you mean about the noisy brain.. and doing puzzles on the tablet. It's counterproductive sleep-wise but we do it anyway.

    1. Nice to hear that you can relate. This was my first time doing it and I won't be making the mistake twice. Just took me WAY too long to get to sleep.

  11. Oh, how exciting! I hope you find a wonderful home that you can enjoy together. We got back not too long ago and I'm catching up on blogs and emails. We spent the day in Ottawa. There was an open house at the university my daughter will be attending this fall, so we went to check it out. So exciting! She's getting ready to leave for university in a few short months and I am happy/sad. Thrilled for this adventure she's going on and sad that she'll be far away like her sister is. They grow up, they move on.

    1. Thanks, that is what I hope as well.

Far away like her sister. That part really does suck. It's good that you let them go though, I know some parents that hold their kiddos back.

      Odd, that.
