Happy Writer - Happy Baker

The correct oven temperature makes all the difference and now, I can write and test, with happier results. Yesterday's tear bread had a lovely crusty top, and a soft crumb.

Love that.

As for today ... it's after 9:30 in the morning and I'm headed offline to finish the work that I started on the weekend. Didn't get the new flour containers because I decided that I'd go restaurant food grade.

More on those another day. Right now, it's time to get back to work. Happy Monday to all, and to all a yummy day.

    1. It's something my husband likes to shoot at the floor in order to drive Bug nuts. That little red laser, really gets her going.

No bakes today, but lots and lots and lots of stuff over the weekend.

    1. It's a toy my husband bought to drive the dogs crazy. Point that little red dot anywhere, and she goes bat crap crazy.

      So fun.

    1. Hope the pups are doing better, now.

Little handgun for reading the temperature of any surface. Though Tim really got it to play with.

Bug and him have a lot of fun. He points and she chases the red dot around like a little bat crap crazy dog.

    1. The new thermometer has helped my bread. But it took awhile to get the oven to set right as it's an old cranky oven. We call him Fred.
