Dig My New Mask

I have a pile of fabric stashed away in the bedroom from when I put it there last spring.

Last spring!

Good golly. What I'm not using has to go, but sorting fabric puts my nose in a frenzy, my eyes swell and I look like a puffed up marshmallow peep.

It's not a good look. So Frankenberry bought me this mask. I only wore it for a few minutes but so far, it works.

In other news it's almost 2 in the afternoon and I'm still in my jams, lots of snow falling and we don't have to be anywhere.

Love these kinds of days.

  1. My mother always had problems walking through fabric stores, but she liked to sew, so she tolerated it. Probably could have used one of those masks, I'm sure.

No snow here...yet. Not expected until later. Probably while we're at B-dubs watching the game. Not that I care about the game (I hate both teams), but it's a VIP party (shows you how often we go to B-dubs to be invited) and there will be free food. Can't pass up free food! :) But I sure hope we don't get the 5-8" of snow. I'd rather not have any.

    1. No, Tim doesn't care about either team either. We aren't watching or going anywhere to see.

Lots and lots of snow here today. Hope the roads stay safe for you.

Free food is hard to pass up.

  2. I'm glad you pointed out that those are eyes, not boobs, because I was about to recommend a good hair removal product.

  3. Are you allergic to fabric?! Also, that's the coolest mask I have seen. The ones I use are boring and now half as cute.

    1. This is from the dust, but sometimes I get rashes from the sizing, when the fabric is at the fabric shoppe.

  4. That reminds me of the Bane mask in The Dark Knight Rises.

  5. So cool! I have one of those too, but it's not pink. :)

  6. Echoing William's comment I just popped in to say that's a great start to your superhero costume ;)

  7. Snowing here too, pretty thick out there. Don't have to go anywhere so that's OK. Presumably by bowling time the roads will have been plowed.

    1. Hope the roads are cleared for you, by then. Happy bowling.

  8. When the wind blows down by my place, I look like a marshmallow. All watery-eyed and a runny nose.

Love the pic of the snow-faced dog.

  9. Hahahaha...after reading Debra's comment, I just can't stop laughing! She is fun, isn't she? Lots of snow here today and very cold!

    1. Yes, she's a hoot and half. Love it.

Was just outside getting Tim's car free from the vomit that Frosty upchucked, all over the drive.

  10. That's awesome.

I tried to convince my wife that I'd do more stuff around the house and yard if she'd let me get a mask like Irish Mike's (From Big Giant Swords).
She said "No" and then walked away muttering something about "insane," "neighbors," and "nut farm."

    1. I googled him. The glasses are a nice touch. I've not seen that show. But I see they're online.
