Tickle My Toes

I can't wait to show you all the new toys that Tim got me over the weekend.  We hit a restaurant store that is loaded, and I do mean loaded, with all kinds of cookery and bakeware.  Everything from used to new, classic to modern.

The best part, everything was FREE!  More on that later, since I haven't taken pictures yet.

Meanwhile, dig these long rolls I baked on my very own, newly purchased, for FREE, rimless bake sheet.  No more fusing with a jelly roll pan.  Now, like on The Great British Bake Off, I too have the joy of sliding my bread right off the sheet and onto a wire rack.

I tell ya, it's the simple things that tickle my toes.

  1. Everything was free? You do know how to find the deals, Ivy.

    1. Yes, or as is said, zero out of pocket. Tim scored this deal. He is a keeper, that one.

Both him and the deal, that is.

    1. Thanks you too. It's new printables day again. The 15th for coupons.com. Doesn't have as many resets as the first of the month, but there are some goodies to be got, this morning online. Printing before I head out for shrooms. What's on the menu for you today?

    2. I haven't really decided yet, but I'm tempted to make pancakes tonight. I picked up some raspberries on the weekend, and hubby LOVES raspberry pancakes. And seeing he went all over the place on the weekend with me so I can take photos, well, he certainly deserves one of his favourite foods, no? Yeah, I think it'll be pancakes with some fresh fruit...

    3. You may not believe this, but I was thinking pancakes this morning as well. Only blueberry. Too funny. Though then I realized we had leftover bread from yesterday, so I had to switch it up to Cinnamon French Toast. Still, we'll both be eating REAL maple syrup.

      Just as it should be.

    4. OHMYGOD...cinnamon French toast! That is good stuff. I'll have to make that next week. Today I'll stick to the raspberry pancakes because raspberries don't stay fresh for long. Oh yes, French toast for sure next week!

    5. Very cool. I'd join you in the Great Pancake, Spoil our Husbands, Rotten Feast, if it weren't for this homemade bread that I need to get used tonight.

  5. I'm looking forward to sharing them. It's like painting minis and being in a shoppe that carries all that gaming stuff. Just so fun.

When we got there and got out of the car, Tim said, "Here's your game store."

    1. You know, I looked for a good maple lea cookie cutter and the only ones they had were hollow. I wanted to put a cut out on that maple pie you were telling me about.
