28 Day Reboot

Hello Boogerbutts - My gosh how have you been?  Me, pretty frickin' good.  As some may remember I was gaining each week and feeling super duper pooped.  Well, I'm happy to report that today is Day 9/28 of my reboot and as of Sunday to Sunday, I'm down FIVE HONKIN' pounds.  That's 20 sticks of household butter or 5 bricks of restaurant butter or marge.

Since I don't have any pictures of restaurant butter/marge, let me show you these transparent apples from the Farmer's Market, which are now part of my new favorite drink.

Raw Ginger
Kale
Summer Cucumbers
Organic Raw String Beans
Transparent Apples
Flat Leaf Parsley

Such a fantastic drink.  In fact, I just made 500ml to take with me on second shift prep.  Then home to make some nummy apple sauce with these babies.  Check them out.

Meanwhile, how'd you do this week?  Anything to share?  A new drink?  Snack?  Did you drop? Gain?  Feeling better?

Do tell.

A yummy juicing combo.  LOVE IT.

  3. I think you made my day at least 10% by calling me boogerbutt. Congrats on the weight loss - I've managed to take close to 10 pounds off over the past six weeks on my quest to reach 180. Still a long way to go, but I take it day by day.

    1. They are wonderful. Got me a big bag. Not very sweet, which is what I like. Got a bit of a kick to it, when juiced.

  5. Five pounds! Good for you!
Last Monday I had gained a pound, but this Monday it went down two, so overall I've lost one pound since Chubba Bubba started. Not five, but better than going up!!

Can't blame it on the food, though (I need to work on that). Just exercising with the weights, walking, and now bike riding. I need to move around more.

    1. Congrats on the lost pound. I am happy not to be gaining anymore. That part sucked monkey balls.

This Chubba Bubba Club is fun. I like it. Thanks for being part of it.

  6. Great job on the five pounds. I gained three on my vacation last week even though I walked miles and miles. Too many late night dinners.

  8. Congrats on five pounds! That is a lot of butter! :)

We had a family wedding this past week which was mostly catered by family, so we got tonnes of leftovers. Luckily lots of the leftovers are veggies, but the shear quantity of food we have here is making me overeat. Trying to keep on my bike while I make my way through all this food.

    1. Got any peppers leftover? I juiced one the other day. It was weird, but not horrible.

Sounds like good fun you guys had. I love when family caters. So much better.

    2. We still have 2 yellow, 2 red, and 1 green from all the ones we came home with. I tried cutting them the way you posted about! So easy and it worked awesome! :)

    3. How fun is that way? I do it at work now too, and it saves both time and there's no waste. I love it. Glad it's working for you as well. Very cool.

Just tossed some apple chunks together with organic cinnamon and nutmeg for applesauce. LOVE applesauce.

When do you guys start getting good apples?

    4. I love applesauce too! Our best apples are from late summer to late fall, the time when you get all the different fancy kinds. My favourite is Granny Smith. Mmmm...
