  2. Lurker: True story, I am. In fact, I just finished making a big bowl of mash and tomorrow, they will become Irish Potato Cakes.

I'll be sure to teleport you a nice warm batch. Maybe even give some to Ray. If he's good.

    :-)

  3. I'm not sure that persuades anyone they don't really want them, but it does suggest those eight legs might be just a bit more trouble than they look...

  4. Ha! I think the same thing about my toddler on occasion :)

  5. Porky: You got that right. They are trouble. And the little one, even more so.

Jess: Nice to see you, Jess. Here's to a kick butt Writing New Year.

Michael: Tim's Irish so I bought this great book on Irish cookery. Might do a post about the book. Lots of fun things.

Hope your 2012 is filled with fun.

  6. Totally! They're only charging up so they can bounce off the walls like pinballs.

  7. I would love to cuddle with them or try to tire them out. Both endeavors would be equally rewarding.

Enjoy them and the New Year!

  9. Hanny: Ha, this is so true.

Barking Alien: It is fun to go on long walks and see how sleepy they get. Or run up and down the hall, with a squeaky.

And they are the best snuggle buddies.

    Happy 2012.

Jemi: It's a power puppy nap.

Ala Mode 7: Fun name you have there. And will do on the cakes. I've got a nice batch of leftover mash, all ready to play with.

    Cheers & Boogie Boogie.

  10. Recharging - definitely!

The question is - where do you sit? Or do they own the couch?

  11. How true! I swear my two recharge all day so they can keep us up all night!

  12. LOL My boys are like that with their naps.

  13. Stacy: When I'm watching a movie, I'm up by Wiggy. She's the big one toward the top and she thinks she's still teeny, and she just snuggles between my back and the couch.

Now Bug, she curls behind my legs or at my feet. Unless Wiggy moves, then she snatches Wiggy's spot, but it's rare for Wiggy to give up her spot.

Kim: Equally cute as they are trouble makers.

Anita: Our last dog was I think the same kind of dog as your two.

Nicole: Do they go a hundred miles per hour and then crash into naps, as well?

    WritingNut: Thanks & Happy 2012.

I got to play with my mom's friend's pit bull, Lola, over the Christmas break and thinking about it recharging made me laugh. So much energy!

  16. Ray: Okay, I believe you.

Veg: They are funny. Sounds like a good break. I see on my Jelly Roll that you posted something. Headed over now.

    Happy 2012.

  17. Awwww, they look so peaceful and sweet when they're sleeping.

Five minutes later, however, they're back into the midst of trouble, no doubt....
