Writing Desk

We had to wait for Igor to clean, before Tim could put together my other Christmas gift.  Which consisted of 50 thousand screws, lots of wood and one tiny bottle of glue.

Tim asked if the desk earned him a 30-hour Skyrim marathon and a get out of jail free card.  So with the power of my new whisk, I granted his wishes.

It's good to be Queen.

  4. Nice desk! And just one more post to reach your goal for the year. Congrats!

P.S. I like the photo at the top of your blog. Did you take that recently?

  5. Nice, well done Tim! The desk looks real nice, I expect much awesomeness to flow forth from such a desk.

  6. Wow, awesome desk! I think Tim deserves a Skyrim marathon for that -- maybe even with pizza thrown in. :)

  7. La la love your new desk. I really need to find a space to dedicate to writing. As it is, my zine gets written in the car, on the couch, in bed, one the floor...ugh. Need a desk!

    Happy New Year!

  8. The desk looks pretty - and so clean (mine wouldn't stay that way very long).

But that chair? It looks so uncomfortable!

magda: Πολύ καλές ευχές για να σας το 2012. Έχετε ένα όμορφο blog. Φιλιά και αγκαλιές.

mshatch: We got it for 150 smackers. Love that.

Alex: And it didn't look like it had a billion pieces, either. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Desert Scribe: The beginning of last winter, and thanks.

Bard: Pizza it is. And no Finger of Death.

christian: Got this one at Walmart for 150 bucks. Happy New Year to you and your family. Keep up the great work on your zine.

Stacy: It's surprisingly comfortable. Although awhile ago I bought another chair so Tim could use the desk area as well, but that chair needs fixed.

  10. It looks great. I love my writing desk with its wide open area and nothing on my coffee(or wine) and my laptop.

  11. Susan: I'm a laptop girl or paper. Only my laptop as no Internet, and there's no music or television in our bedroom.

    Just quiet. Ah ... heaven.

  12. Very nice desk :) And I was going to say too that the chair looks like it needs a pillow.

  13. Niki: Tim hates that little chair so when he sits at my desk we wheel in his chair, until the other big one we have gets fixed.

    Happy New Blogging Year. Woohoo!

  16. Will the dogs turn up underneath the desk sooner rather then later, hogging all the leg room?

  17. William: Wiggy loves being under our desks. Bug I'm not sure about.
