Wiggy

Hi Guys.  Meet Wiggy.  We adopted her from the pound.  She's four months old, loves to snuggle, hug and wiggles her butt so hard that she falls over.

She's a keeper.

Wiggy has floppy ears and is so sleepy from a day of play.
I took this two seconds after the top one.  That's one pooped pup.

Doing a Jig

To celebrate feeling better, I put a chocolate peanut butter pie in the oven. Only I don't think my taste buds are in full swing yet, because the batter tasted less like peanut butter and more like vomit.

That's my timer. Best check the oven.  Meanwhile, here are the results of Wonder Woman Quiz 13.

Thanks for playing, and here's hoping whatever you eat, doesn't taste like throw up.

Wonder Woman Quiz 13

Howdy Hello Gang: To win the Space Mission Badge, answer me this ...

Diana Prince gets trapped on a conveyor belt that's going up. When she reaches the high-end, she gets tossed off.  Her next move is to spin into Wonder Woman.

Does she do it during her long fall, or afterward, while rolling down the hill?

As I always do, I'll see you back here tomorrow at the end of comments.  Thanks again for all the well wishes.

PS: I just nibbled on some Fritos and you know what? They were nummy. Can't wait to play in the kitchen, soon.

What's that smell?

It's our kitchen garbage bag.  And I can finally smell it.  I'm a happy camper.

Still not strong enough to do a jig, but been awake since 4:44 AM and haven't sneezed once. And, I slept in our bed last night, almost all the way through.

Life is good.

Tired of Being Sick

Been sneezing my eyeballs out all day.  I miss the taste of food and sleeping regular hours.

I also miss sleeping in our bed at night, but with me up and down so much, it's just easier to stay in the living room.

On the upside, I get to post this groovy sneezing flower.

Happy Blogoversery

Happy blogoversery to my husband. To celebrate two years of blogging I got him peeps.  He loves those things.

Good job, Baby.

And thank you Tim for making me to start my own blog. Been tons of fun. I'll thank you proper later, when I'm not dripping infectious bodily fluids.

Smooch.

PS: Check out Tim's giveway.

Who am I? Quiz 3

To win three bottles of eye drops, two chocolate chip cookies and one spider, tell us who we are, what we're doing, and why we're doing it?

For the bonus prize of one space mission badge, tell me (the guy on the right), what I say right after we're done doing whatever it is we're doing.

Good luck and as usual, I'll see you tomorrow with the answers, right here at the end of comments.

Best Sick Day

Even though I'm house bound and not feeling well, this is the best sick day, ever.

Tim ordered pizza for lunch and we snuggled on the couch while watching Doctor Who.  After that we had a crust duel.  That's where we try and whack each other with the crust.  I didn't win but I did get in a few good shots to his noggin and one to his nose.

After that we both went in for a nappy nap.  It's been raining all day.  Perfect nappy nappy weather.  Only I wasn't all the way sleepy so I picked up chapter one of my manuscript and rewrote it by hand.  And guess what? I love it now.

I tell ya, I've been struggling with that first part FOREVER.  But after a season-long manusript resting period, I finally fixed that sucker.

Life is good.

DIG 'EM SPOCKS

It's the logical choice for breakfast.

Scary Pink Hand

When Tim came home for lunch he gave me 40 bucks and told me to buy myself something pretty.  So I bought a new Swiffer, along with pink gloves.

In other news, it was fun catching up with you guys today.  And now ... it's time to shower, get in my jams and snuggle in for the night.  Tomorrow it's the fabric shop and then two days off for the weekend.

Life is good.

This is my scary hand pose.
Here's the new Swiffer.  Her name is Sally.
This is Scary Pink Hand squishing Sally's head.
And now Scary Pink Hand is squishing Pete Parsley's head.
RAWR ....
Then I pointed the camera at the sun, just to see what would happen.

Howdy Hello

Just popped in to say howdy.  Been working lots of hours at the shop but tomorrow, I have off and I'm either gonna play in the garden or in the kitchen.

And check it out.  Yesterday our first and only flower popped up in the backyard.  Someone told me spring was coming. Now I believe them.

And here's Tim's food shot of the day. He's very proud of his work.

Ding Dong The Witch is Dead

To celebrate the clean sewing room, I cooked my first ever London Broil.  Mom made these all the time but since I was a veghead, I'd never tasted it before.

Next time though, I'll marinade the meat in my favorite homemade dressing and broil it for less time.

And while I have a great knives for cutting raw meats and veg, the knives we have for cutting cooked meats, really bite.  Any suggestions on a good meat knife would be much appreciated.

That's about all from me.  Tim's taking a nappy nap and said he didn't want to sleep too long, so I'm going to go jump on him and put my cold little hands on his warm belly.

Life is good.

Best Laugh Ever

I've seen this a bunch of times, and it still makes me laugh.

Life is Good

Today, the snow melted, the sun came out and the Cake Crusader awarded me The Worst of the Worst. Included in the list was Cake's arch enemy.  You may know him as the The OSR's Hottest Elf Chick
and promoter of pie.

Then last night when I got home from the shop, Tim showed me that I was a guest baker at Barking Alien's place. It's me and the Swedish Chef. We made biscuit/scones with strawberries and cream.  I loved it.  So much fun.  To add to the laughs, Tim read the entire post to me using the Chef's voice.  Am I a lucky girl? I think so.

And now ... we're headed into a three day holiday for our anniversary, I made shrimp and carrot rice for the weekend, and there's a chicken roasting in the oven for supper.

And for dessert?  Well, I can't tell you because it's not THAT kind of blog.  But I will say this ... life is good.

Organic brown short grain, carrots, raw ginger, garlic and shrimp.

Then I used Pyrex bowls to store four servings.  So easy.
