Right now, we have 2 days of staycation, left. Tim was supper sick during the first part, then I caught it. He's moving about now, I'm still on the bench. Currently shopping online for a new wavy waffle cutter. Deciding between white or orange. My head is stuffed up and I've blown through 1,004 tissues.
Ugh.
Being sick is no fun. Being sick and unable to taste your soup sucks.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.
Still no taste buds. How goes summer on your end of the world?
DeleteAw, so sad about not tasting soup--and being sick and the furnace going out. BRRRR. I hope you have a speedy recovery and are able to enjoy a little of your staycation.
ReplyDeleteWe did enjoy being snuggled on the couch, watching fun things on NetFlix. But the being sick part, sucked.
DeleteWe just replaced our furnace. $5000.00 later.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
YIKES!!!!!!
DeleteSo sorry you have been/are sick. Bummer about the furnace but glad it was quickly fixed, that's happened to us. Neat new toy.
ReplyDeleteYou guys, too. Ack.
DeleteFeel better soon, HW. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marie. Happy 2018!
DeleteOh crap! So sorry you're sick. Hope you make a miraculous recovery!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marcy! Happy 2018!
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear you aren't well. When my daughter buys kitchen appliances she doesn't bother deciding on colour. Everything is white or stainless steel.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
I love splashes of colour!
DeleteHappy 2018!
Yuck to being sick! Hope that cold goes away soon and that you're back up happy and whisking away.
ReplyDeleteMuch thanks to you! Happy 2018!
DeleteSo sorry to read you've not been well - sending lots of feel better soon wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteAt least you were able to get your furnace fixed.
Sending my good wishes for 2018.
All the best Jan
Much, much, thanks, Jan!
DeleteHappy 2018!
Get well soon, good Lady Whisk (and hello to Gothridge Manor)...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you both...!!!
Thank you kind, Sir.
DeleteBeing sick is blech-y - I hope you feel better fast. I'm dreading this year's virus; I've heard it's a particularly bad one . . .
ReplyDeleteAnd why does stuff always go wrong when everything is closed? We've had issues on Christmas days with a few things, too. It certainly makes for a memorable holiday, but still!
Tim had it first and my poor immune system just couldn't help but get it too.
DeleteSorry you had some issues with stuff on Chrsitmas too. Hope it all got settled for you now.
Happy 2018!
Sorry to hear you are sick.
ReplyDeleteA waffle cutter should make you feel better. Go with white.
cheers, parsnip and mandibles
Thanks, Parsnip. The sale ended before I snagged one. But that's okay, I wanted to see the ones at the kitchen stores, first.
DeleteOh no, I hope that you are feeling better. Also wanted to wish you a Happy New Year. I hope you have a great 2018!!!
ReplyDeleteSucky Christmas Staycation for us. How was yours? Did you get to see your mom?
DeleteI'm so sorry you and Tim have been sick. That is a yucky way to end the year and start a new one. Wishing you a quick recovery and the best in the new year!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Here's to a killer good 2018 to us all. Thanks for stopping by today.
DeleteI would pick white:-) Hope you are better soon. Everyone around here is sick.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read that everyone is sick about your place too. ACK !!!!!! Feel better wishes from our house to yours.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear you're sick!
ReplyDeleteI posted something for you on my blog, whenever you're up for it....
Just got back from your blog. Thank you for sharing your story with us. This is not an easy process to declutter and you're rockin' it. Even when things pile up, that sometimes helps in a weird way, too. Here's to 2018 and health. You guys deserve the best of 2018. Hugs & Bug, Me.
DeleteSorry to hear you're sick! Feel better soon! And I'm glad your furnace woes were relatively quickly and inexpensively fixed. Bad time to be without heat, December.
ReplyDeleteI HATE BEING SICK !!!!
DeleteOh no, I hope you're on the mend. :-(
ReplyDeleteSlowly but surely. Getting there. Still sick but getting better. Thanks! Happy 2018 with a great big side of boogie boogie.
DeleteI sure hope you're feeling much better now.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the very best in 2018, my nice friend.
Gary
Much, much thanks! I'm still on the bench BUT, the last two days I've been able to do small bits and bobs about the house. I'll take it. How goes you?
DeleteI hope you're feeling better! Glad your furnace got fixed! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteStill sick but better than before. Thank you. Happy 2018!
DeleteBeing sick does suck. Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary! It really does suck. I'm better than last week but not fully working just yet. Closer though. Thank you. Happy 2018.
DeleteHmmm, must have missed this post. I saw a whole bunch of yours reposted yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHey William. This is so weird to me because I didn't re-publish this but I also saw it in my dashboard. But you say you saw a whole bunch. ACK. I wonder if it was the switch to my dot com that did it. Thanks for letting me know you saw a bunch of mine repost.
DeleteI hope you feel better soon! I hate being sick! Big Hugs!
