Goodbye Lemon Tart Room

Look what I've got my paws into now. Destroying the Lemon Tart Room (aka movie room). Lemme tell you how freeing it is to do what WE want with OUR place.

Seriously good stuff.

But why say goodbye to a room that we loved using? Because we're done with it.

I started yesterday and my focus is to turn this space into a kick-ass work room for Tim. His Spring Equinox gift from me.

Goodbye Lemon Tart Room. Hello Change.

PS: I can't get the song, Goobye Yellow Brick Road, out of my head. It's been in there for like a week now.

  1. Thanks to reading your post I will now have the song Goodbye to Yellow Brick Road in my head. Along with a thousand other songs too.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new room and what you name it.

    1. Debra (she who seeks), named The Lemon Tart Room. So I might have to seek her wisdom for the next name as well.

Goodbye Yellow Brick is STILL in my head. It won't stop. So sorry you've caught it as well.

Thanks, I LOVED the bright yellow mixed with the sun in that room. But it's time to say goodbye!

  5. So I take it he doesn't like yellow? Or is it more than just replacing the wall color?

    1. Yes, more than changing paints. I've removed the little strips that they used to hold the drywall together. Going to mud-up the walls and sand them. Then whatever colour he fancies but overall, the entire trailer is getting repainted.

Well, maybe not the breadbox green in the bedroom. So far, that's the only room to stay but will be touched up.

Great pictures of you and your daughter on your page.

  29. Hey Ivy,

Aha, your tart's in the right place. Well done and no, I wont do a bunch of tart puns, such as.... 'How Can You Mend A Broken Tart?', 'Your Cheatin' Tart', 'Don't Go Breakin' My Tart', 'Unbreak My Tart', 'Achy Breaky Tart', 'Put A Little Love In Your Tart' and my favourite, 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Tarts Club Band.

I shall now go find me some Munchkins...

Have a nice weekend, my kind friend.
