I Did What I Did (and now I'm done)

Today, I didn't get everything done but it did finally warm up enough for me to have homemade dairy-free chocolate, cherry ice cream. I meant to snap pictures, but my belly had other plans.

I digress.

The groovy thing is even though I didn't get everything done, I feel good. Where in the past I might try and do more.

Instead, I'm headed to the shower, gonna put on cute jeans and a Halloween shirt. Do you know what it's like to open your drawers/closet and love everything in there?  I do.

It's flippin' amazing.

But look at me, I'm writing the longest post in the history of ever. I'm not even sure I have a point. I'm just happy. Happy not to be stuck in the mindset of, I should've, I could've, maybe still can, get it done.

Screw that bullshit.

I did what I did and now I'm done. When Tim gets home, supper then to Barnes.  We plan to close the place down.

And that's all I have to say about that.

    2. You'll be happy to know I made a crustless quiche today...was good too. Love your dog header. Where are you that is still cold? We're having our usual heatwave/rain here...

    3. Very cool bake. Do you eat crust? I do, but I like uncrusted as well. Both are yummy.

We started Summer, but odd thing, we still have some too cold to eat ice cream, mornings. Burrr.

Not today, today it's already muggy. Just turned the air on.

      Do you fancy Summer?

    4. I'm more a Fall person these days though I did like summers as a kid off school and traveling with the oddballs who were at their best when doing so...How did you get into cookery?

  19. So good to read about your happiness! I stopped at a little ice cream shop the other day with my grandma and we ordered cones. I had thought about taking pictures too, but ice cream just can't wait for pictures!
