Friday Question: What Am I ????

My breakfast plan was to have chocolate cherry ice cream, homemade, no added sugars and free from dairy. BUT, it's so flippin' cold here, that I'm gonna go for a warm bowl of rice with broccoli and cauliflower. Followed by ginger, turmeric and cinnamon tea for dessert.

Anyway, it's Friday here at The Manor and I'm about to make something with the image below. What am I? Winners receive three dusty paperbacks, two frames and a lamp.

    2. Thanks. I'll take the glory but I'll pass on the prizes. Just like you I'm trying to get stuff OUT of the house :-)

    3. :) True and it's not like these are good foodie prizes. And even those, are always rotted like rotted beets or slime-filled scones.

Have you been playing with any new foods lately?

  2. I say celery! BTW, the tea sounds delicious.

  3. I guess that is celery.
Your version of breakfast is vastly different than mine. Although I wouldn't protest ice cream too much.

    1. Ice cream for breakfast is, heaven in a bowl. Or cone, or spoon. Really, it's just good eats.

  4. Good thing all the preceding commenters let me know this is celery, because I had no clue!

  5. Yep, celery. I knew it before I saw the other answers. HONEST!

The reason I knew: I don't care for it (flavor is too strong for me) and it's what I look for to pick out of stuff! Haha!

    1. I love that you knew what it was because you pick it out of foods.

      Happy Weekend :)

  7. Maggots? Sorry, when I first saw it, they looked like those worms everyone eats on TV. Probably not maggots, but I've no idea what name they go by. Yuck!

  9. I was going to say the small pattypan squash when I first saw it.
But because you blew it up and the color is over corrected I really had a hard time seeing this one.

  10. Chuckling at Yolanda's answer. The teeny weeny picture on my dashboard did look maggotty.
Blown up its celery nature is obvious. Which is a plus. Even before I became vegetarian I tried to avoid maggots.

    1. I think there's a vegan maggot on the market. Not as chewy but loaded with protein for those high-protein seekers.

  11. Even when I realised someone had got it right, I still wouldn't have thought it was celery. Looks like a bowl of grubs to me, the kind the Abos eat.
