Friday Question: Mung Beans

The goal was to make these last night and tell you what I thought. But I was out longer than planned and when I got home, I plumb forgot. Instead, we each had a BIG bowl of steamed potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli. Then I made a wholemeal spelt flatbread thingy. It was yummy.

But I digress ....

Let's get to Friday's Question.

  6. Never heard of mung beans, although that doesn't mean I've never eaten them. Someone could have snuck some in my salad a long time ago (because it's been awhile since I've had a salad at a restaurant).

  10. Yup. Love the whole family.
Mind you a cat we had a long time ago used to say (very clearly) mung, mung, mung when she was displeased with us.
It is now a family phrase.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. I finally made them and did enjoy them. But I'm still learning how to cook them. I felt they were too hard based on the package 1 part mung 3 part liquid. So I added more. Ate them again today. Filling without any allergic reaction or belly bloat.

Hope your Sunday is kick-ass good.
