RAISE YOUR HAND IF ...

It is a lovely crisp morning here at The Manor and guess what? Tim has a five day weekend. Now I don't celebrate American Thanksgiving, but I'll surely take the FIVE DAYS with him, home. Love it.

Love it, love it, love it.

Meanwhile, remember The Lemon Tart Room? Well, after much argument between Monster (treadmill's name) and the couch (nameless), they both sorted their issues and found a proper space.

In other news, I have two new ingredients (of sorts), to try this weekend. More on that later beause right now, I'm off to read a few blogs, make dough and sip the best green veggie stock in the history of, EVER!

  1. Ouch! You seem to be a very "happy" person, so having it hurt when you laugh is not, I'm sure, a good thing! Enjoy the weekend! Always great to be able to spend more time with someone you love! Glad the Monster and the couch were able to find a way to coexist...though I'd imagine the couch feels discriminated against considering you thought the treadmill important enough to get a name, but not the couch! Poor thing...

    1. Hahaha, yes you've got something there about the couch. Not sure why I never named him?

Tim (hubby aka Frankenberry), makes me laugh a lot. Really a funny guy. But overall, yeah, I'm a happy camper though I get cranky too. And when I do, I draw cranky stick figures.

Loved that shot of you with the candy at the end. That was funny. You're a funny chick. Glad to have met you over at Martha's blog.

  4. Sorry you pulled that muscle...love your adorable Christmas banner (i love everything you draw...and I still wish you would sell your drawings...even your doodles)
Are you from Canada or somewhere they don't observe Thanksgiving ? ANYway, wishing you lots of fun with your hubby home.

  5. Sorry you pulled a muscle. If your hubby is anything like mine, he'll purposely make you laugh. Be glad you don't have a cough. I can only imagine how much that would hurt. Enjoy your weekend! :)

  6. We've just had the best green soup ever - kale, courgettes, broccoli stalks, potatoes - all from the garden - and carrots and onions - I think that's it.
Oh, pulling a muscle isn't good, but you've made a very amusing illustration.
Have a great five days - home holidays are the best.
Why does the couch not have a name? Doesn't every couch have a name?

  8. How about calling the couch The Loafer. Sorry you pulled a muscle. So stop laughing. So why don't you celebrate American Thanksgiving Day? We didn't celebrate the same in the UK although the churches acknowledge Harvest Festival at this time of year.

  13. Why not thaksgiving? I LOVE this day. It's like xmas w/o the pressies. And actaulyl, food wise, a lot more like an english xmas for the main meal, sans the english desserts.

Well, wishing you a happy 5 days off. I have a few too and am so enjoying it, especially with it snowing her today so beautifully.
