THANKFUL

This week marks my 3rd week of walk/jogging again. I absolutely love to jog. We have a killer treadmill named Monster and even if jogging indoors is easier, I don't care. It's still my favorite. This is my meditation. This is where I sweat out toxins and rebuild from the inside out.

So with that, I'm off to the market to get a few things, and then home for chores and my reward, a full set on Monster. Being strong enough even if I have to go slowly for now ...

 ... best thing ever.

Or as I say, suck on that infections/allergies/immune system and digestive issues. Suck on that.

  6. Whoo hoo! I use the treadmill at times, but not to run (I never could get into that). I prefer to walk outside, though. I love the fresh air. Okay, so maybe there's some exhaust in it, but it beats the fitness center, where sometimes I wonder if there's any circulation of air at all! Keep up the good work!!

    1. Exhaust, too many dangerous fast cars, allergies, not for me.

I've never been to a gym, but I don't think I'd fancy all the smells.

  8. Congrats on getting back into the jogging and such! I hate jogging outside, but will do it on occasion because I don't have a treadmill and wish I did :(

  9. Ivy I'm NO coach but I think your posture is all wrong... you should hold the bars and face the monster. Personally, I would not wear a skirt for my walking, but it is ONLY a personal choice.

Yes you tell them Ivy to suck it up

Great job on your 3rd weeks!

    1. Still a lot wrong with my innards, but my outlook has remained strong and focused. Full recovery is my end goal.

  11. I missed my walk/jog today because I mowed the grass. My knees always hurt after mowing those side hills and areas too steep for the tractor. Have fun on monster.

    1. Have you ever tried cashews or cherries as post-workout medicine? Really helps with recovery time and inflammation.

  12. I love that you name your machines/appliances. Very cool. And it sounds like you're doing great. Even cooler. Just got back in and getting ready to shut down. Time to cozy up with honey bunny and watch a movie.
