Pizza & Brownies

The neatest thing I learned last week was that yeast-free, grain-free, dairy-free breads can be made by batter method, rather than kneading. It's not the same as my usual bread, but the science works.

Yesterday, I didn't get to make the allergy-friendly pizza crust. So today, it's on. Followed by a brownie treat for Tim, that according to the formula (not mine), we will both be able to eat.

That's just two of the things on my To-Bake List. Anyone else baking today? Who likes brownies?

I'm not a huge fan, but these new ones might be okay. That's all from me. Thanks for reading and have a yummy day.

  1. Good stuff going on over at your place. I'm not a big brownie fan but hubby and daughter like them. Sometimes I make things they enjoy just because. No baking for me today. You know what's on my agenda? I'm going to spend the day in the garden. It's going to be a good day!

  5. Brownies are okay. I won't go out of my way to get one, that's for sure. Have a fun baking day (which is kind of silly for me to say since any kind of baking is fun for you, right?). :)

  6. Brownies have never been my fave dessert either. They're just a bit TOO dense and choclatey for me.

    1. Do you like them with or without nuts? I like them with nuts.

I can't help it 100 degrees and I still bake. That was my job back when I was a prep cook.
No windows, two big ovens, twelve burners, lots of bakes. It was the best.

    1. I'm sorry to hear that his digestive issues have returned. As I mentioned to you earlier, I'm not a fan of the gluten-free pre-mixed flours because they All too often contain hard to digest starches.

But that said, there are plenty of yummy grain-free alternatives without starches, gums and chemicals.
