Treasure Hunting

Saturday we stopped at another antique store and found this treasure. Slightly bigger than mini muffins but smaller than today's standard size. Perfect for test batches.

Next weekend, the store is having a spring fling where different sellers set up tables. Very much excited to go, provided it's not snowing (it's happened before). As for this weekend, it was perfect treasure hunting, sunshine kind of fun.

LOVED IT!

Then today, we stumbled into a new cafe'. We didn't stay but for a second, just wanted to see the inside. Small joint, but might serve for when Barnes is packed.

And that my Boogerbutts concludes this post. Time for me to close the lid on both my coffin and this tablet. I am pooped. But I can honestly say, it's a good pooped.

Thanks for reading and boogie boogie.

  1. Great find! It kind of looks like a popover pan.

    1. It does, I agree. A friend of mine and I were just talking about that. This one isn't as deep and narrow as today's popover pans but when I saw it, the first thing I thought was POPOVERS!

    1. No, but I do use everything that I have. No waste. No patience for it, nor room.

  5. And the pan makes eight. That's a strange number.

    2. The only time I've ever been in one was when we were trying to find the value of a table our movers had broken, because it turned out that table was an antique (we'd gotten it cheap at an Army sale). I don't remember what we got for it, but I was sad to see it ruined because it was so cool looking.

  8. A good pooped sounds a lot better than a bad pooped, I've had plenty of them and believe me....you don't want one! ;0)

  11. It looks solid. If you can get your hands on any antiques they will last forever. Unlike the crap you buy new.

    1. Yeppers, and I'm SUPER picky about what I'll bake in and buy these days. Thankfully, I have a solid sturdy collection.

Do you like to hit antique stores?

  12. That would not be reasonable to have snow next week... we are coming up north next Sunday, if I see any fluffs coming down, I'm just going to turn the car right back to Florida!

Great find please DO NOT post picture of what ever you cook in them, I might have a break down... LOL
