Snow Goblins

Yesterday out and about and today, home working on Tim's Mini Manor (I'm making homemade envelopes and he's running the printing press). Then later, we're having locally raised beef. Money back guarantee. I'm good with that.

And lastly, dig my bag of onions for six smackers. I don't about ya'll but we eat A LOT of onions, here at the Manor.

PS: I love this day.

  1. I use onions and leeks often. So very tasty.
But I try not to eat them raw. If I do, I use a very quick pickle that neutralize (?) the acid in them that affect me.
Love your bag of onions so charming.

    cheers, parsnip

    1. Is it too personal to ask how the raw onions don't work in your body? Neat that you found a way to stop that.

I have to eat some raw but I also LOVE them cooked and eaten as a side dish. Just give me a bowl of onions and I'm happy.

  5. What on earth do you do with so many onions. I'm glad there are no snow goblins. None here either.

  6. I'm using more onions than I used to when I cook. I never liked how they tasted when I was younger, but the older I get, the more I like them.

  7. Can't beat onions in a nice onion gravy ... but that bag would last me quite a time.

Mind you you could always make a lot of soup too !

    All the best Jan

  9. Holy moly, that's a big bag o' onions! I knew a girl once who always used to slice up a raw onion, slap it between a couple of pieces of white bread, and eat it as a sandwich.
