....but that would be a lie ... well, fib.

Writing done. Chores done. Whole bird in the oven. Best part, today I used my new spice grinder to make homemade flours. Then I wrote and tested a batch of Flax, Millet & Oat Griddle Cakes. I'd like to say that I left one for Tim to try, but that would be a lie.

And now, I'm headed for a nap. Well, really, I'm headed toward the Lemon Tart Room with a cuppa licorice root tea and a book, but to say that I probably won't nap, is another lie.  Well, fib.

That's all from me, hope you Boogerbutts had a good Monday. This concludes another broadcast day.

Cheers and boogie boogie.

    1. That was my bad in not explaining that the flax, millet and groats were made into flours, first.

I went back and fixed the post. Thanks :-)

  3. I'm guessing Tim doesn't get to try a LOT of your tests. Especially if they're GOOD! :)

  4. A long time ago, I put oatmeal in the blender since I was out of flour for apple pie. It worked.

    1. Good deal. It's such a great flour to work with for sweet or savoury bakes.

    1. Wasn't too bad at that. How goes things on your side of the world? Do you miss your old home or are you settled into your new place?

  6. I'm never much of a nap person. Except on some days getting home after being in the sun's rays for too long

    1. I'll be on later tonight but now I'm about to shut down for the rest of the day. Just catchin' up on comments, then it's time to make either griddle cakes or quinoa. Both sound yummy.

Though I did make your thyme and parsley, root vedge combo as a side dish, last night. Making it again tonight. Not a soup but just all the vedge together. Love it, thanks!
