Who Puts a Bedroom Closet in the Bathroom?

I've had a cranky morning but things are getting better now that I'm in my cleaning clothes and yellow gloves.

Cleaning is a way for me to let off steam. Plus by time I'm done, I'm usually crank-free and the place looks great.

Here's the house from yesterday. Who puts a bedroom closet in the bathroom? Seriously, this is the only closet and it's next to the crapper, which is in front of the shower.

Just what every wife wants; to shower then walk past her husband who is in the middle of his morning dump.

  1. I never understood the closet in the bathroom, either. Wouldn't the clothes get steamy from the shower?

Hope you had fun looking at houses. :)

  2. That is an odd place for a closet. Shelves for towels I would understand. But who wants their clothes in the bathroom?

  3. There entrance to our attic is through our master bath. It doubles as a storage closet. I keep the seasonal decorations there so I don't have to walk past the shower very often.

    1. That's a good use of your space. This house though, doesn't have any other closet for clothes. Just right next to the crapper and that's something I'm not willing to deal with.

Plus, the kitchen was shit, as well.

  7. Some house designers have no idea what is required in the first place. They should always consult women, we could set them straight.

  8. I don't know what some people are thinking when they design a house. We ran across some weird set ups when we were searching for a home.

    1. About how long from when you were really serious to landing a house you both wanted?

So how goes the life of a publisher and writer, these days?

    1. The only master bedroom one. The Jack and Jill rooms had ones ... wait ... I think they did. I didn't go all the way in those rooms because I hated the kitchen and bedroom.

  11. So here's the thing. Okay, so, let's eliminate the male specimen crapping and let's just look at this from, let's say, a single woman's perspective.

Okay, makeup's on the counter, closet's right there, nice hot shower, a good dump, and then hey, it's all right there you don't even have to leave the room.

Heck, I'd be whistling dixie if you told me there was a coffee maker in it.

See, when I go to Vegas, to blow what money I don't have, I stay at Ivanka Trump's place… and that's pretty much what my suite looks like. Minus the white. Oh, the toilet is enclosed in glass I grant you that! But I've got a coffee maker! (and in the kitchen area too)

    Yeah, so… I guess I'm weird! hahahaha

  13. Maybe it's a closet for storing showerroomy things. I wouldn't store clothes in there for sure. They'd be damp and musty.

    1. Hey Anna - there was no bedroom closet, just the bathroom one. I agree, me either on the clothes.
