Friday Question: Brownies

What's the best brownie you ever ate?  For me, it's my vegan brownie that I made back in the day.  I can't find the formula I wrote and I only partly remember how I made them, but they were GOOOOOD.  They had walnuts and a top layer of chocolate that worked well with the brownie bit.

Yummy.

What's the best brownie you ever ate?

  4. As long as it's moist and tasty, it's a good brownie. Top it off with a scoop of ice cream and it become the BEST brownie.

Good morning, Wonder Woman! Have a rocking day ahead. I'll be in the garden once again today...

    1. That sounds similar to a Blondie, which from what I understand, doesn't have chocolate.

Do you bake them often, and if so, do you yourself eat them?

    2. I haven't baked much in a year so, I don't even cook much... tense situation in the house... which is why I've been trying to move out for a long time now...

  7. My grandmother's Glorified Brownies. They were HEAVEN. I have the recipe (which is probably chock full of everything that's bad for you--it is an OLD recipe), but if I make them I'd end up eating the whole batch myself. Although, some days that doesn't sound so bad. :)

    1. How old is old? Were the brownies filled with nuts and stuff and loaded with butter and sugar? If so, sounds good.

    2. Old = at least the 1960s (if not older).
No nuts, but lots of butter and sugar and then covered in mini marshmallows and chocolate frosting (made with butter). Really messy, but hey, messy makes them better. Right?

Daughter makes a vegan chocolate cookie that is like a brownie. Thin crispy outside soft chewy inside. Best chocolate brownie cookie ever.
