Friday Question: Chocolate or Lemon?

I wanted to ask this question last Friday but when I saw Lucy eating snails, I had to go with snails.  Duh.

Thanks to everyone who participated.  I loved reading the comments and, I learned a few things as well.

Not too shabby.

That brings us to today's Friday Question.  Sitting in front of you are two bakes.  One is chocolate, and the other is lemon.  Any bake you fancy, but one has to be chocolate and the other, lemon.

The catch? You can only eat one.  Which do you pick?

Me?  Lemon trumps chocolate, all ding dong day long.

  1. Me too. Make mine a Tarte au Citron, or possibly a lemon drizzle. Mmmm

  10. Name anything you want, doesn't matter. For me, nothing beats the good old Hershey bar for chocolate.

No disrespect to Tim's taste, or your baking abilities -- which you have repeatedly demonstrated to be AWESOME!

So . . . I'll gladly seize upon the Lemmon option! lol

  11. Ohhhh that's tough one! I do love me some chocolate, but I think in the end I'll have to go with the lemon...lemon pound cake, lemon and lavender cookies, lemon pie, lemon poppy-seed cupcakes...mmm now I'm drooling!

  13. Hard choice, but I have to choose chocolate, only because I like more chocolate things than lemon things. Heck, there are only two lemon things I really like: lemon meringue pie and lemon bars (the Betty Crocker mix--I think).

  17. I'd pick the lemon. I'm not a huge chocolate fan. Lemon would appeal more to me.

  18. Ha! Chocolate. No contest. Don't get me wrong. I like lemon. Lemon is refreshing. It's great in pies, it's great in summertime.

    But really. Chocolate.

    Chocolate.
    Chocolate.
    Chocolate.

And that's all I have to say about that.

    :)
