Rootin' Tootin'

I'm back from the chiropractor and feeling rootin' tootin' good.  In case you're not sure, rootin' tootin' is a few levels higher than good, and just at the borderline of obnoxious.

Even though my energy levels are excellent and I don't hurt, I'm still supposed to rest.  Only what I really want to do is take advantage of the bright sunlight, and clean my kitchen floor.  Probably give Ethel a good scrub and prep supper.

Meanwhile, over the weekend I was strong enough to make dough, and this week the goal is to get back to writing those puppy bakes, as I am TWO WEEKS behind.

That about wraps it up for me.  And in case you missed it, Tim gave me a pecker at Barnes and Snoopy ate his best friend.  Now I have to go rest, but as soon as I'm done with that, I'm scrubbing my kitchen floor clean.

Cannot wait.

    1. I love at the end of the day, when everything is all cleaned. It's the best.

  2. I am not jumping on the "clean my floor, too" bandwagon - although I thought about it. Glad your feeling rootin, tootin good. Just don't overdo it. Do you clean your floors on your knees with a cloth? Sometimes I do. I seen the ad about the new mop that twirls and wrings hands-free. Seems like a good investment. Cheers!!

    1. I haven't seen that ad, but we don't have TV (just NetFlix/Amazon/YouTube. I'll have to google it.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Very happy to meet you :) I understand the feeling: anytime I visit my chiropractor, I leave feeling "rootin' tootin' good"!

Sorry to hear about Snoopy and Woodstock. They made such a fine pair. Woodstock should have realized the danger of hovering around the Peeps, being the same color and everything...

    Cheers!

    1. Rootin' Tootin' is a good way to start the week. Yes, poor little Woodstock. Probably never saw it coming.

  5. Chiropractors terrify me. I worry that I am going to have a stroke because they make you sign a waiver saying that you could!

    1. I have not had that problem, Birdie.

Before I started seeing my doctor my spine was in terrible shape from the scoliosis. Now my shoulders go back on their own and I don't have a hump.

So for me, it's been all good. Sorry to hear they terrify you.

  7. Oh boy, you reminded me of how much my kitchen floor needs a good cleaning. Now I'm shamed into doing it. Hahahaha...

Well, that's great that you're feeling so good. Rootin' tootin'...I like that. I have to add it to my fun vocabulary.

Those pepperoni & cheese rolls? They. Look. So. Good.

    1. I never was able to get to it but the place is vacuumed and super is done. So first thing after my bakes tomorrow, clean that floor.

Thanks about the rolls. They are super duper easy to roll and really, any veggie work well inside. Even a potato and onion combo.

Or a green and red pepper combo with caramelized onions - with or without cheese.

Any way we roll'em they're good eats.

  10. I remember when my mom used to go to the chiropractor all the time. Then she stopped going and never went back. Never got the full story on that.

For me though, I love that sunshine because it reveals every little nook.

    1. I feel good but didn't get to do the floors. And today there's not enough sun light.

      How's your head today?

    2. Numbers are numbers. While I'm a backward American using a stupid system next to no one else uses, I'm also able to do conversion from one system to the other.

    3. I just looked on your page and sent you an email asking you about what system you use. If you don't get the email, mine is on the side of my blog as well.

      Cheers and boogie boogie.
