Suck 'em Down

Wilma arrives tomorrow and the hallway needs finished.  Time to blast Imagine Dragons and get it done.

But first, dig this.  20 poms for $8.90.  Time to juice these babies and suck 'em down.  So yummy and nothing but pure energy.

Unlike the crash and burn candy bar effect, homemade pom juice builds a good morning and carries on through lunch.

Gonna be a good day.

  2. I like Imagine Dragons. Hope they make cleaning fun for you. Of course, I can't imagine ANYTHING making cleaning fun. Probably why my house looks the way it does. Haha!

    1. I like being a housewife. I truly enjoy the cleaning and the organizing, cooking, baking, doing the bills while drinking my favorite homemade latte.

I could easily do this each day. Plus, I'm super duper excited to get Wilma. Might just rewash everything we own. Just for fun.

  4. That looks very refreshing! I bet it tastes great. And you're right...it's much better for energy than the crash and burn candy bars.

I love the song 'Demons' from Imagine Dragons! Discovered it through my daughter when she was playing it on her computer one day. I should check out this band's other songs.

    1. So refreshing, for sure.

Demons is good. I sing it as I scrub dishes. There's a really good live show of Imagine Dragons on YouTube. Really good stuff.

  5. Wait, if the washing machine is Wilma, and dryer will be Betty, is there a Fred in the house too? :)

    1. There is a Fred, named after Fred from I Love Lucy. It's our old broken down cranky, but loveable oven.

  6. I'm so old and out of touch that I didn't even realize that Imagine Dragons is a band until I read the comments. Yikes.

    1. They are a fun band. Good boogie music, especially when doing dishes and other housework activities.

  7. Great deal on Poms! They are still $1.47 each at most places up here. Sometimes you can get one for $0.97 but your deal is way better!

So do you have to seed them first or can you put the whole thing in the juicer?

    1. 97 cents is good. Up until this batch, I paid 99 each. I don't juice the skin, though some people do. For me just the ruby jewels of wonderfulness. Toss in an apple or a grape or not, doesn't matter. It's good either way.

  11. Isn't it easier to buy a carton of the stuff already juiced??? Or is that sacrilegious?

    1. Only way I'd buy pre-made is with a free coupon but even then, I'd most likely donate it.

  12. Pomegranate juice is SO good for ya. My husband's cousin recently gave us a whole bag! and I hadn't the foggiest idea how to juice them. Thank goodness for the Internet. Breaking them up under water in a bowl creates a LOT less juice all over the kitchen. LOL Turned out yummy!

    1. Hi Carol. Yes they are. I am not a fan of the water method but I'm glad you found something that works for you.

And a whole bag for free, holy poms, Batman, that's the best deal on the market.

      Happy Juicing.
