MORIN' BUTTFACES

That's right.  I called you a ButtFace.  And you know why?  Because I'm feeling pretty darn good this morning.  So there.

Check out breakfast.  So very yummy.  I swear.

Raw String Beans
Baby Kale
Baby Spinach
One Tomato
Two Celery Stalks
Half Lemon
Half Big Green Zuke
One Mango

These are things I like to eat, so it works for me.  But if you're not into raw foods, this is not for you.  That being said, I wish you all an oogie boogie day.

PS: For anyone who has Bic $3/1 coupons, you can snag FREE razors at Dollar General.  A few other places have this deal as well, but I love Dollar General, so I went there.
100 Razors, FREE
40 Pens, FREE @Dollar General

  1. That's a lot of free razors!
It's a healthy drink, that's for sure. Take your word that it's tasty though.

    1. I swear, Dez, it's really good.

Yes, great deal on the razors. Very happy because I like these (though cheapies), a great deal. They don't last long though.

    2. can they be used for male beard?

    3. Sadly, no. Not good on Hubby's scalp either. For him I snagged FREE Hydro blades at Kmart.

But oddly, these work great on my legs. I tried one pack way back when Bic ran their last big sale and loved them.

    1. The one on the hill is my favorite. Best workers, cleanest Dollar General EVER, and wonderful promotions/coupon freebie deals.

And the Dollar General sponges kick booty, as well. For a buck, it's a great deal.

  5. Love your new header, and how 'bout you eating kale, the new super food of the rich and famous.

    1. Yeah, kale is for sure getting a lot of hot attention these days. Thankfully, near me, it's still super duper cheap to buy. And I usually get the organic and it's still a dang good price.

  6. There was only ONE thing in that drink that I would eat raw (spinich, as long as it was in a salad with dressing) and only ONE that I would eat cooked (zucchini - if that's what a zuke is), so there's no way I would be able to drink that. But hey, everyone's tastes are different and if that's what makes you sing, go for it!

Now, if only those caramel Frappes from McDonalds were just as healthy, because they are certainly tasty! :)

    1. I am going to try and make a healthy caramel frappe. Those are good. But not allowed to have any whilst juicing.

      Yes, zuke is zucchini.

  7. Love all your pens! Love even more that they were free. You are amazing. We don't have Dollar General up here, but whenever you talk about it I go to their website and dream about all the deals I would get. :) Happy deal getting and juicing! Glad you are feeling great this morning.

    1. They only had black and blues but still fun for free. Tonight we're headed back out for me school supplies. So much fun.

Any stores near you that are like Dollar Generals? I lucked out, because the one here on the hill is super clean, super friendly, and super fun.

    2. I hope you get some school supplies deals! :) I don't think we have any stores as good as Dollar General. I generally follow the flyers and see who has the best deal on things I might have a coupon for. Sometimes there are great deals to be had, so I always check! :)

  9. I love shakes made with fresh berries but I can't drink the veggies shakes.

    1. Some veg is easier to hide in a fruit smoothie or juiced drink. Others are harder to hide.

Happy Birthday to your hubby. Hope you guys have a nice meal and that he didn't get rained out on his golfing trip.

  10. I need to get over to the Dollar Tree and get me some razors!

In my shakes the berries have to overtake the fruit or hard to swallow... literately.

    1. Smoothies can for me, sometimes be a bit too thick and chunky. So I temper them with juicing. Find that nice mid-ground, then I'm good to go.

Best of luck on your new author journey.

  11. I've only just started eating and juicing kale. Strong taste to it eh. I add ginger to my juices and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Helps mask those 'yummy' flavours! :D

    1. Have you tried organic baby kale? I find that adding just a handful or two to each drink will lift the other flavors rather nicely. Especially the fruits, they get a sort of assist from the organic baby kale.

  12. No not baby. Bought kale for the first time last weekend at the farmers market. It's not organic. But I am growing my own, looking forward to trying it ... that's if no animals get in and steal it first!

    1. Growing your own. Very nice. I hope you take some pictures. Maybe it will not taste good to the animals. Fingers and toes, crossed.

  14. My wife used to make drinks like that: so good for you! Once, though, she added some weird thing that made it all taste like yard waste:)

  16. Hi Happy Whisk,

Buttface??? - LOL! You are so funny!

Just curious - Why do you need so many razors? :D

    1. The deal is to pay NOTHING now, so that later when I do need them, I don't pay full price.

As a couponer I have a different way of looking at savings, money and stockpile needs. And it works for me.

  17. Got to say it looks yuck but glad your happy with it. Real happy you got up all bouncy and ready for the day

    1. Thanks Ian. I got a lot done today too, and I had the energy for it, which was super nice. Today though, I go back to work. We'll see how it goes. I'm going in strong, here's hoping I don't return home, broken.

  19. That is a great new header on your blog. And I am in awe at what a coupon wizard you are. I use some occasionally, but my amounts are wimpy compared to yours. I don't even know where to look for coupons! You know, I've never eaten kale in my life. I'm not even sure what it looks like!

    1. Kale, I find either people love it or hate it. It's a weird little veg.

Hey, any savings is good savings.
