Dragonass

Boy, I am dragonass again today.  The past few days have been harder on my body than the days before that.  And yesterday I trained more on hot side.  I'm pooped.

Had hoped work would call me off today, but with this new promotion we're running on burgers, looks like I gotta go.

Most of the morning I spent on the couch.  The great thing about the pups is when they know I am not feeling well, they just cuddle close and use their snuggle powers.

Such good pups.

And with that, I gotta get into my prep clothes, wrap a babuska around my noggin, grab my knife kit and head out.

PS: Last night I ate half a sandwich when I wasn't hungry.

    1. It's just terrible. Sorry to read you have it as well. Maybe I'll go stick my head in a bucket of ice.

    1. The day went better and I started to wake and I did my bakes at work - but I'm super happy to have tomorrow off.

  3. A lot of people don't realise that all pups are superheroes with snuggle power to revive flagging human spirits. Even when that pup happens to be 16 years old!

I must confess that when I saw the title of this post I thought that maybe you'd eaten a particularly hot curry or chilli and were emitting flames from your nether regions ;)

    1. I am happy to report, no flame from my nether regions. Though I did laugh out loud when I read your comment.

I should have named my post, Snuggle Powers. Hey, wow, you have a 16 year old pup. What kind? Ours are pound puppies.

    2. Glad I made you laugh! :)

It's actually a very long time since I've had pups as I live alone in a second floor flat, so it wouldn't be fair on them. Growing up I was around for the last 8 years of our first dog which was a mongrel (I think she was a collie & red setter cross). After she died we got a golden retriever who had 2 daughters that we decided to keep - they were all mad!

    3. Nothing like a mad pup. They are so fun, even when trouble. Our little one, Bug is half beagle half German shepherd, and all kinds of crazy.

  4. Love snuggle powers. Animals absolutely have super powers - I'm so glad they share them with us. :) Good luck today!

    1. It would be a great name for a burger. I might have to make one up and call it that, here at home.
