Fresh from the Oven

Instead of cinnamon bread, I went with chocolate and oatmeal balls.  This is not the greatest picture but since most of the cookies are in our bellies, it will have to do.

I wrote the formula using packets of mega fiber instant oats because I got a buttload on special.  Next batch, a wee bit more turbinado sugar.

And for tomorrow's bake, it's either cinnamon or garlic bread.  Or maybe both.  Meanwhile, I'm off to coupon before bed.

Until next post, cheers and boogie boogie.

  2. A "buttload?" I must not be up on the technical aspects of baking. Is a buttload more or less than a cup? Hopefully not as big as a quart.

  3. Cinnamon or garlic? How do you choose? I love both! It would be hard for me.

    Have fun baking!!

  4. Ken: Hahahaha, that's pretty good. I'd say it's way more than a quart, as I had to special order the packets.

Stacy: Me too :-) That's why I might just go for both. Have the garlic bread for supper and the cinnamon for the following day's French toast.

So much bread, only one tiny oven.

  5. Cinnamon bread-nom nom nom. My gran and I had that with hot chocolate in the winter almost every nite.

  6. Anne: You know ... I don't think I've ever had mine with hot cocoa. I'm going to give that a try. Thanks for sharing.

    Boogie boogie.
