Red Shirt

At my first job (prep), I must wear a particular kind of shirt.  But for my second gig (pizza), as long as it's a red shirt, anything goes.

I'm wearing this new Spider-Man shirt today.

Next, the hunt for a red Wonder Woman shirt.

And, if I get my hands on one of these, I'm totally buying more than one.  It would be wrong, not to.

  1. I hope you find them...awesome! I wear scrubs and we used to be able to wear whatever kinds of socks we like, but now they have to be plain and boring.

  2. Yeah, you don't want to wear a red Star trek shirt. Kitchens are too dangerous.

  3. I hope you find one, named a town on my map after you and Tim!

  4. Melanie: Sorry to hear that the took away a fun thing like socks.

Trey: I can't not get it.

Lurker: How cool is that? Sorry I haven't been out and about as much, headed over now.

  5. Wish you luck at the new gig. Let me know how the bosses react to the stylized spider and their pizza! Like you, I would love to get that red Star Trek shirt! Roland

  6. That t-shirt is so cool Whisk. If you do go dressed full on as Spidey you have to have Tim snap a pic of it.

  7. Don't ever deliver a pizza to a dungeon wearing a red shirt. I tell ya, no good will come of it!

  8. Roland: I wonder if the spider might be too gross or scary for the pizza shoppe. If so, Star Trek red shirt and Wonder Woman, it is.

Anne: Glad to hear your hubby is doing a wee bit better.

bliss: That was funny. I promise to stay away from dungeons.

  10. scrubs and no jeans at my work but at least we can pick our own scrub top. We don't have to match - yet!

And I'd totally wear a Star Trek tee :)

  11. Stacy: They do look nummy.

mshatch: How about a red shirt scrub top?

  12. All the WW tees at the local shop were black. There's some cool Flash tees in red though!

I think as a woman you'd be safe wearing the ST red shirt. Nothing ever happened to Uhura!

  13. If you were to go the Star Trek Red Shirt route, you'd have to pay up your life insurance in advance.

  14. Whisk that Spider-Man shirt is too cool. If a pizza guy showed up in a Spidey costume I'd tip him $20 just for the laugh.

  15. Suzan: Saw a cool Flash one and Iron Man. Found a red Wonder Woman as well, but man alive -- they were all so high in price.

I'll have to find a coupon.

    William: Smart thinking.

  18. Awesome Spidey shirt, Whisk! Good luck with the Wonder Woman t-quest; there must be more reasonably priced ones out there (have you tried eBay? That's where I get a lot of my shirts from these days).

  19. Flea: My t-quest. That's great. I'm going to use that for a blog post title, once I get my red shirt collection of super hero tees.

I looked on eBay only briefly. But I'm fixin' to take another look-see.

    Thanks :-)

  25. Ray: Me too.

Elsie: Love marathons, but I still promise not to tell.

Kim: Red shirts are a bad thing in space, too.

    alexia: Happy Wednesday, back.

Daisey: I found that image somewhere online. I thought about making my own shirt and matching bandana.

  26. I agree with Trey -- wearing a Star Trek red shirt in an environment with ovens and knives is just tempting fate. :)

  27. I love your spider man t-shirt :)

Try and stop that neighbour burning plastic, Whisk. Very bad, causes cancer.

  29. Expendable crewman? Nah! Lt. Whisk is more like Jean-Luc: cultured and elegant, still in red, but not afraid to make a klingon her cosmic bitch.

  32. Bard: If you don't hear from me a few weeks, then you'll I really did become a red shirt.

    Gloria: Thanks.

    Hanny: You are too kind.

Jeremy: Hope things are well on your end. Thanks for stopping by.

Susan: It's a lot of fun, but I don't want to break the bank on red shirts.
