Dinosaurs and Dumplings

Work was pretty damn good. Even though they surprised me with two greenhorns, instead of just one.

But the two newbs did fantastic working as a team. That's the way restaurant work should be.  Or, at least I believe so.

You cooking tonight?

Not me. It's leftover dinosaur wings and dumplings for us.

Meanwhile, it's Game Night for Tim and a quiet night for me.  I've already taken the girls for their LONG walk, showered, and now I'm in my jams.  And it ain't even five o'clock yet.

Such a hard life.

  1. I've been considering an early night into the jams too. My husband did the work on the grill for dinner tonight, enjoying the unusually warm weather.

  4. William: I think it's a girl thing. Don't hear too many dudes saying, "Hey, gonna get in my jams and have quiet night."

  6. Men call them lounge wear. And I'm usually in mine by dinnertime as well.

  7. My son loves getting into his jammies as soon as he gets home. I usually wait until after I've taken the dog out for his last pee :)

  9. William: lol.

Trey: Who do you think gave me the recipe?

    Alex: Lounge wear?

mshatch: Wait all the way until then, eh? I can understand that.

  11. Oh that sounds sweet. I cooked. Chicken, Cranberries (again), green bean casserole (reheated), salad and stuffing (stove top). EZ - smeezy but it took an hour. :( Wasn't in my jammies until 7:30

  12. Dang, girl! I'm so jealous. I was just starting my shift at the mall when you were curled up in your jams, munching on dinosaurs.

  15. matt: Wasn't bad at that. You cooking this week?

Kim: My stuffing was from a bag. Funny how EZ-smeezy can still take us upwards of an hour or so. Happy Cooking & Jogging.

Suzan: And good dinosaur it was. Hope the retail shoppers are kind to you and your co-workers this season.

Lurker: Haven't seen read about your game yet. Hope it was great fun and that you kicked Ray's ass.

    Susan: It's the best.
